The new version of iPump comes with Weight Tracking to help you monitor and log your Workouts including sets, reps and weight, per exercise, per workout. This way you have a reference every time you perform that workout again. Logs can be deleted by swiping. Not as good as a personal trainer but an affordable alternative for health and fitness fans.

H.E.X v1.1

Puzzle games on mobile devices these days are a dime-a-dozen. On the iPhone, there are literally hundreds. What’s more, if you see the word “puzzle” and then some crystals – you automatically think Bejeweled. Or at least some kind of Bejeweled rip-off. H.E.X from p13development is so much more. It’s original, it’s fast paced and it’s fun. In fact, its fun factor can rival even games as a big as poker online.

H.E.X has an intuitive and novel control system and is incredibly easy to pick-up and play. In H.E.X, there is a game-board with a number of different colored crystals. On the bottom of the screen, there is a bar with a number of crystals in a certain order. You have to mark crystals on the game-board with the touch of your finger to match the given pattern. If it matches, the crystals dissolve and a new challenge begins. As you play through the game, the patterns get longer, and the time you have to solve each puzzle gets shorter.

The graphics and animations in H.E.X are all very polished. A lot of time has obviously gone into the development of this game. There is no noticeable lag, nor any control issues and the music is great.
